This is an AFIS based most effective solution for personal identification. Buddy punching for attendance or meals consumption by ghost workers is now simply not possible. A person has to be personally present for identification. The systems automatically update the database, records complete log of each and every activity performed by the workers and prepare the bill payable by the Employee and the bill to be paid to the contractor.

PRISON MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

ITEC was awarded through open biding a contract to prepare Bio-metric based Prison Management System for the Sindh Prison Services, Home Department Government of Sindh, who have 18 jails all over the urban and rural  Sindh with more then 20,000 inmates. ITEC has renewed the sindh prison management system by introducing IT infrastructure to provide a firm foundation on which to build in future. This latest and state of the Art management information system is based on the latest information technology available, has been implemented to computerized and integrate all the functions of Sindh jails at all levels to help the management at all levels, in planning, critical analysis, monitoring, decision making and execution of day to day operation.

Since finger print is viewed as the most reliable method of establishing identification, an Automated Finger Print identification System (AFIS) and access should be made available to custody / investigation units where timely identification is critical. The availability of standard based wide area network means that all the AFIS systems can be linked together; On-line access to all finger print database becomes technically possible for any national or super-national authority. There is the prospect of a computerized system for country wide database, for suspects and proved guilty should be maintained.
